A landlocked country between Tibetan
Plateau and China in North and Indian in the South
lays the kingdom of Nepal with a population of
22 million people. Though only about 500 miles
long and about 110 miles wide, Nepal has a wide

the eastern mid hills. The Sherpas live in the

of bird is only found in Chapa Goan-Kathmandu
and Royal Bardia National Park of Nepal.
- The Gorge made by "Kali Gandaki" of
Myagdi District is the world deepest Gorge.
- The "Steelier Deckumberi Flower" found
in the hills of Nepal at the height of 6,492 meters,
is the highest blooming flower found in the world.
- The "Red Guars" Rodederdrom flower found
in Mangalbari of Ilam District, growing at a height
of 1025 meters, are the world's biggest Rodendroms.
- The "Trepan Nepalese" mushroom is only
found in Nepal.
- The helipad-flying insect "Gyane Kira"

- The rice paddy planted in Twto-Jumla District
at the height of 2,857 meters is the highest paddy
of the world.
- The fish found in "RaraLake"-Mugu District
at the height of 3000 meters are the highest fish

- "Lugula Pass" in Manag (Near the Tibetan
border), is located at the height of 6,728 meters;
the highest pass of the world.
- Human habitation at the world's highest elevation
is in Nepal; the Sherpas live at the height of
3,048 meters above the sea level.
- The Blue sheep & Yak found at a height of
more than 6,000 meters; are the highest animals
of the world.
- In Nepal there are 130 types of mammals, 850 types
of leaver, more than 50 types of serpents, more
than 120 types of fish and 596 types of flowering
plants are found.

The Tibetan autonomous Region
of the people's Republic of China, are to the
east, south and west of Nepal, a sovereign independent
kingdom and India is to the south, The length
of the Kingdom is 885 KM east-west and its breath
varies from 1,45-241 KM north-south. The country
can be divided three main geographical regions.
HIMALAYAN REGION:
Geographically, Himalayan ranges are young mountain
ranges of the earth. The altitude of this region
ranges between 4,877 meters to 8,848 meters. It
includes eight of the 14 highest summits in the
world, which exceed an altitude of 8,000 meters
including Everest, Annapurna, Dhulagiri and others
mountains.

HILLY MOUNTAIN REGION:
This region accounts for about 64 percent of the
total land area and is inhabited by 55% of total
population. The Mahabharat ranges from it the
soars up to 4,877 meters and the lower Churia
ranges and most populated and cultural part of
the Nepalese topography.
TERAI [PLANE] REGION:
The lowland Terai occupies about 17 percent of
the total land area of the country comprising
of dense forest and most fertile farming land.
This narrow stripe of low land Terai Region lays
on the southern most part of the country, running
from east to west with the varied breadth of 26
to 32 KM and with average altitude of 300 meters
above sea level.
HISTORY:
Nepal has distinct and brave history, and has
always been an independent, sovereign country
with a glorious culture and traditions that date
back to time immemorial. Before King Prithivi
Narayan Shah launched the campaign of national
integration, the Malla Kings, whose contribution
to art and culture are indeed great and unique,
ruled the Kathmandu valley.
In 1768 AD, the Shah dynasty ascended the throne
of the unified Kingdom. His Majesty King Gyanendra
Bir Bikram Shah Dev is the thirteen King in Shah
Dynasty. The new Democratic Constitution of the
Kingdom was instituted on November 1990.

- Nuwakot Durbar [Old historical palace-73 Km north-west
from Kathmandu]
- Gorkha Durbar [Old palace of begging's of Shah
dynasty; 173 Km west from kathmandu]
- Lumbani birthplace of Lord Buddha. It’s
a world popular place for Buddhism situated 257
Km west of Kathmandu.
